At every workplace and construction site, first aid materials must be provided. The type, quantity, properties and distribution of such first aid materials (three kits in the office and none in the workshop is the wrong approach) primarily depend on the number of employees and their risk potential (office work as opposed to work on the shop floor). The locations where first aid material is stored must be easily accessible and be marked as such. In addition, first aid personnel must be appointed and, if necessary, first aid rooms made available.
