Floors may not have any surface characteristics that cause stumbling or tripping, they must be immobile, non-slippery and skid proof; it must be easy to remove all expected dirt from them and, if necessary, to disinfect them. Floor surfaces must be resistant to all chemical and physical influences that can be expected from the type of use to which they are exposed.
