General Labour Protection Regulation

Parts of the General Labour Protection Regulation (Allgemeine Arbeitnehmerschutzverordnung, AAV) continue to apply as transitional provisions until the respective regulations concerning the Labour Protection Act come into force. Upon entry into force of the relevant regulation pursuant to the Labour Protection Act, further provisions of the Labour Protection Regulation become invalid. Section Nine of the Labour Protection Act (Transitional Rules) lists the sections of the General Labour Protection Regulation that still apply. The Final Provisions of the individual regulations relating to the Labour Protection Act define which provisions of the AAV become invalid upon the entry into force of the new regulation.
