In early 2002, the Labour Protection Reform Act (Arbeitnehmerschutz-Reformgesetz) was adopted providing for occupational psychologists and other expert staff. The services of these can be enlisted for up to 25 per cent (or more, on a voluntary basis) of the statutory prevention time if the employer considers their advice necessary, i.e. when problems, such as extreme stress, mobbing or some similar strain emerge.
