The provisions of the Regulation relating to Work Equipment (Arbeitsmittelverordnung, AM-VO) apply to the use and design of equipment intended for oxyacetylene welding. Such equipment has to be used in accordance with written operating instructions which must include instructions for the mounting of pressure regulators, the adjustment and operation of the welding equipment, behaviour in the event of failures and the exchange of oxyacetylene cylinders.
