Workers may carry out the following activities only if they can prove their technical qualifications by means of a certificate pursuant to the Regulation relating to Technical Qualifications (Section 4): (Fachkenntnisnachweis-Verordnung, FK-VO) of 2007;
- Driving cranes (exemptions set forth in Section 3 of the Regulation relating to Technical Certificates)
- Driving forklift trucks (exemptions set forth in Section 3, para 1., number 3, of the Regulation relating to Technical Qualifications) under the proviso that the driver has obtained an in-house permit to drive fork-lift trucks
- Blasting operations within the meaning of the Regulation relating to Blasting Operations (Sprengarbeitenverordnung, Spreng-VO)
- Gas rescue service work, excluding pit rescue and gas protection operations and especially gas protection units in line with mining regulations
- Diving work (including signalling activities) within the meaning of the Regulation on Compressed Air and Diving Work (Druckluft- und Taucherarbeitenverordnung)
- Preparing and organising work under high voltage (work on high voltage power installations with alternating voltages of more than 1 kV or constant voltages of more than 1.5 kV)
