Regulations are passed by the competent ministries .These contain the rules for the implementation of individual sections or parts of acts. In the Labour Protection Act (Arbeitnehmer-schutzgesetz, ASchG), the last section of every part (Sections 18, 32, 39, etc.) specifies which regulations have to be adopted for the respective part. The Labour Protection Act provides for close to 30 regulations, 27 of which have been enacted in the meantime. With regard to the regulations that have not yet been adopted, the transitional rules of Part Nine of the Labour Protection Act apply.
