Alongside the provisions for explosive and flammable substances, special provisions apply to work substances and materials dangerous to human health. A work substance or material is dangerous to health if it is toxic, irritant, caustic, carcinogenic or mutagenic, if it may give rise to chronic diseases or impair reproduction, if it is sensitizing, fibrogenic, radioactive or infectious.
