For the duration of construction work, every construction site must be secured by suitable means, such as safety fences, traffic routing systems or warning lamps. The extent to which all these measures have to be taken also depends on the geographic location of the site (i.e. busy neighbourhood, school in the vicinity) and the hazard potential.
