Explosion Limits

The lower explosion limit corresponds to the concentration of a gas or vapour in the air, above which the gas air or fume/air mixture becomes explosive. The upper explosion limit is the concentration level at which the gas/air or fume/air mixture is no longer explosive. These values are stated for an air pressure of 1,013.25 millibar and a temperature of 20°C.
