Fictitious Partitioning of Rooms

See Workrooms; Fictitious room partitioning is understood as the option of subdividing one workroom into two working areas; the duration of work in one of these two areas must, however, only be short-term (not exceeding two hours per working day), which means that such areas are not suitable as permanent workstations. Example: Shops with backroom storage area. In accordance with the Regulation relating to Workplaces (Arbeitsstättenverordnung, AStV) certain waivers of the general provisions can be claimed for backroom storage areas.
