In principle, storage is prohibited in the following areas:

• On stairs and landings
• On escape routes, unless the utilizable minimum width is assured, the stored good have been placed in a stable, immovable position and must not be combustible
• In front of emergency exits: see above “on escape routes”
• The functionality of toilets, staff rooms, first aid rooms and the like must not be impaired by stored goods.
