Every employee is entitled to a suitable social environment including, in all cases, a sufficient number of toilets, drinking water and washbasins. If necessary (i.e. exposure to wetness or dust, standby duty, etc.) showers, washrooms, wardrobes, changing rooms as well as staff rooms and rooms for workers on call also have to be provided. If mobility-impaired persons are employed, their needs have to be taken into account. See also Barrier-free Design.
