Work clothing has to meet the requirements of the specific activity and must not present any hazards (i.e. by getting snagged). If the type of activity calls for a certain type of work clothes affording special protection to the worker, or if it can be assumed that the clothes will be significantly soiled, the employer must make available such work clothing.
